Mucha Welcome Sign Woodburn Pyrography

I'm really flabbergasted at how wonderful this is. I have a great love for ukiyo-e and engravings, but wood burning is completely new to me. I mean I knew about it, but I had no idea it could be this beautiful. There is just something so very organic, tactile and heraldic about this art, something that is to be done with a great deal of pride and care.  Kinda like one of those old crafts the secrets of which were kept to a town or a guild.

Damn, I wish to learn to do this so badly
